
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street' (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). A native of Ohio native, she was not much interested in the markets and currencies while in college. While attending New York University, she was a part-time intern at the start-up site ForexTV.com. The first time she worked in business news from this job. In the following years, she completed an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. The work experience was for 4 months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. When she returned to the US in the fall, she was able to work at Bloomberg's office in New York. She became a television anchor in the end. CNBC brought her on in December 2013 to be an anchor. Eisen has been co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange and 'Power Lunch' before landing the job of 'Closing Bell' in the year. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street since the year 2014. She is among the most well-known journalist in business today. Since her arrival at CNBC, her primary focus has been on global consumer news.
