Farrah Leni Fawcett is an American model, actress, and artist best known for her role in the film "The Apostle. She was considered for an Emmy Award four times and the Golden Globe award six times during her professional career. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she began her career appearing in commercials. She has also been in television shows including I Dream of Jeannie and The Flying Nun. Her film debut was an acting role for the French comedy "Love is a Funny Thing. Her international recognition was due to her famous red swimming suit poster, which was the top-selling pin-up poster ever.
