Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her portrayals as the main character in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. McCormack, who was born into a family that had no connection to entertainment at all in her family tree is the daughter of a clinical therapy and an owner of an ice cream parlor. After the divorce of her parents, McCormack enrolled to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following having graduated from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA in English, she was awarded a degree. The path she took to success started at the age of 12, when she appeared in a stage production the Christmas musical "Amahl and the Night Visitor'. McCormack continued to perform in theatres before landing a role that were on small screens and big. McCormack has been recognized as being one of Hollywood's best-known and versatile actors. McCormack is married to director/producer Michael Morris and has three children.
